Last winter I had a bad cold, with the worst symptom being a bad cough. I was being kept awake at night because of it. I took several different cough syrups and nothing worked. Then in desperation I pulled out a product that I had picked up for my kids- Triaminic Vapor Patch. It is a breathable cloth patch that you stick on your chest area. The ointment is on the patch and it releases soothing vapors that really cleared up my nose and amazingly the cough was a suppressed and I was able to sleep. This product is marketed for children, but it worked great for me. My kids didn't care for the smell of it and I think the vapors annoyed them. I think the company should remarket these for adults as well. I was so relieved to finally get some rest and will use these patches again.
