My experience with Vicks Vapor Rub has been fantastic.  Vicks is advertised as a cough suppresant and decongestant and works great for these ailments.  But, I have found another use for Vicks Vapor Rub and could not get over how great it is.  My elderly mother has toenail fungus and we were looking to buy one of the over the counter medications to use to treat this.  I read an article in the paper that Vicks Vapor Rub can be used to treat toe nail fungus.  I took the chance and bought it and started putting it on her toe nail every night with a cotton sock.  After about 3 weeks the old thick fungus toenail fell off and a new toenail has already started to come in.  We are now treating another fungus toenail with Vicks Vapor Rub and I can already see it working.  Vicks Vapor Rub is cheap and it is effective.  I recommend it highly.
