As you can tell with my long list of Aveda reviews, I have tried or use many different Aveda products. Most of them are just fine to use as a man without worrying about an overpowering floral scent. This one is an exception. The rosemary and peppermint is a little too girlie to use as a facial shaving creme. I think it would be great for a female using it for shaving.
My face felt very soft and healthy after shaving with this.
This does not have an abundance of foam. This is more of a slick gel/creme than a shave foam. This still does the job to raise the whiskers. At $5 / 150mL this is an expensive shaving solution.

Never heard of this line of products, and you have to wonder why they would make the scent of one of them so out of line with the rest. Thanks for the info.
Quick question: Why woud it fit under hair removal? Does it in fact remove hair too? Great second use on this gel. I prefer them to foams and soaps for my legs. They seem to soften and moisturize so much better!
Well maybe we are splitting hairs:-D -- but shaving to me is about removing hair albeit temporarly. No, this is not depilatory creme.
I agree with froggy...gels work better on my legs too. They are always so silky soft when I'm done, I love it! Rosemary & peppermint sounds like a unique combination and I agree I would think it might be a little too girly for a guy. Aveda makes a great line of products, glad to hear you enjoy them!
