Health / Prescription Medications / Trimcinolone Acetonide?!?!

Last week I woke up with my face and neck itching, as the day progresses my ears were itching, by mid day my skin was red and blotchy. I called my doctor and he asked me to come in. After seeing him he said it was an allergy reaction, but we could not figure out to what, since nothing had changed as far as soaps, detergents, lotions, the normal culprits.

He prescribe a cream that was for all around rashes, eczema, allergy reactions, poison ivy, sumac and so on. I applied it three times a day, and a little bit will go a long way. It is a 30 gram tube and the cream is white but goes on clear and did not leave my skin feeling dirty or tacky, although my face had a bit of a shine it was not worth complaining about.

Within the first two days most of the rash was gone! Today my skin is clearer than it has been in years! I am glad he prescribed this to me and it is a cream I will request in the future if and when this tube runs out.

It is generic form so my insurance co pay was only $10.00. Taro is the company that puts out this brand. Over all I am very pleased and impressed with this medication.
