Cortitrol is a supplement made by Pharmanex. Its primary use is in stress management. Cortitrol targets cortisol and aims to balance it. Cortisol is the “fight-or-flight” hormone. It is manufactured in the adrenal glands in response to emergency situations.

 

The product comes in a green translucent plastic bottle with sixty tablets to be taken twice daily. The tablets themselves are oblong shaped and are brown in color.

 

Cortitrol contains the following ingredients:

 

Magnolia Extract – 133mg

Epimedium Water Extract – 100mg

L-Theanine Extract – 66.7mg

Phytosterol Ester – 50mg

Phosphatidylserine – 8.3mg

The Verdict

 

Cortitrol is an excellent product when it comes to managing stress. The magnolia bark and l-theanine extract really helps calm you down. The product also lets you feel more refreshed even with only a few hours of sleep. What I have experienced with the product is that even with minimal sleeping hours I feel recharged as if I took an entire eight hours.

This product is ideal for today’s hectic lifestyle. This product is also perfect for people on a night shift.

 

The product has a mild aftertaste as it is after all produced from different plant extracts. This is however a small price to pay for a good night’s sleep. It is after all the quality of sleep that is important not only the quantity.
