When my hubby and I got married we moved out of state and had to find a house in a hurry. We couldn't afford a huge house, but didn't want an old farm house. We ended up finding this modular home and were impressed with the size and look of the inside.

From the outside, the house doesn't look like a double wide trailer like some people think. It looks like a long, one story, ranch-style house. Inside is no different. There are different styles you can choose from, but this one has 3 beds, 2 baths, a huge kitchen, 2 large living rooms, and a laundry room. Our main living room had a very nice gas fireplace too.

After we lived in the house a while, we started to notice things about the house that were built cheaply or inconviently. The biggest complaint we had was that the walls are very thin. Sound from one room travels easily to the rest of the house. Also, hanging things on the wall can be tricky because the wall can't support much weight.

We took the walls to the main living room completely and found that where the house came together at the top and across the ceiling did not create a good seam. Although the ceiling wasn't leaking, it was showing wear and small cracks.

We also did not like the fact that the windows and walls did not hold heat in very well during the winter. There were actually small spaces between the doors where you could see outside light. I'm sure we lost a lot of heat and air out the sides of the doors.

Overall, the size and look is great for the price, but you will be disappointed in the quality of the workmanship and cheapness of the materials.
