  With collections needing a display case I was looking for a curio cabinet that was not too tall as it was going against a wall that would have a large picture above it.  We looked for quite sometime and finally ended up at a great furniture store recommended by my sister in law.

We found this beautiful curio cabinet in exactly the size we were looking for at Northwestern Furnishings which has been in business here since 1939.   The cabinet is done in solid wood, painted a hunter green color with the doors and top finished in a cherry stain.  I fell in love with the combination of wood and color so it didn't take long to decide it was going to part of our furnishings.

**This cabinet is 33-1/2 inches high and 29 inches tall.  The depth on the inside is 12 inches with one adjustable glass shelf. 

**The entire inside back of the cabinet is mirrored so when you look into the cabinet your display items can be viewed from the front and back making it seem larger than the actual size. 

**The sides of the cabinet are also glass making for wonderful viewing from all sides. 

**There is a lamp which can be turned on or off with a switch located on the inside top of the cabinet.

**The cherry stained doors have been accented with green knobs to match the outside of the cabinet.  They latch closed firmly and keep out much of the dust so cleaning inside is at a minimum.

This cabinet was such a great match to the wood trim we have in our living room that it was almost like it was made to order.  Right now we have displayed some of our daughter's Disney water globe collection inside which I hate to dust!!  I have a huge tall curio cabinet for my Santa collection but I love this smaller version and give it a huge thumbs up.
