My son has a life threatening allergy to peanuts, so we're always cautious about the things we bring into the house. You wouldn't think we'd need to worry about cleaners and air fresheners, but you'd be surprised at what they put peanut parts in.
Mrs Meyer's Clean Day products are peanut free, and produced in a plant that does not handle peanuts. Their products are also natural, do not use harsh chemicals, and have pleasant fragrances. Both my son and I have a problem with strong fragrances, so I was a bit worried about trying the Baby Blossoms Freshening Spray. However, the fragrance is soft and does not smell of chemicals, but rather like blossoms (hmmm...hence the name I suppose).
Now, can something that uses organic essential oils and no harsh chemical make a room smell better, even if there's a stinky diaper pail in the room? Surprisingly yes! I've tried Oust, Lysol, and a few other air fresheners to freshen my diaper pail, and nothing has gotten rid of that smell. Mrs Meyer's Baby Blossoms Freshening Spray actually helped! It didn't get rid of the smell completely, but it did more than just mask the smell. The pail doesn't reak of diapers, and the room doesn't either!
If you use Febreeze or Oust, try Mrs Meyer's. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised at how nice your house can smell without the aerosols and harsh chemicals!

I am going to check into this as my son has a severe peanut allergy-I'm so glad I read this!
Sounds like a pretty good alternative to the aerosols and stronger scents out there. I personally cannot begin to imagine the dangers that living with a peanut allergy poses...but I know a number of people who must. Good info to have regarding this as well. Thanks
