I cannot believe that I am writing a review about a candle other than Yankee Candles. So many times I have been disappointed, when I bought other brands, because even though they claimed to be fragrant--they weren't. So finally, I pretty much gave up on other scented candles.

But then one day, while browsing in an antique store/gift shop, I saw a display of candles, sitting on a wooden hutch. They were very attractive, and came in lots of colors and scents. I LOVE candles, and quite naturally felt that  I had to take a whiff of most every one.

My favorite one turned out to be Strawberry Cream. I felt like I could just eat it up, right then and there, because it smelled so delicious. But I've been fooled many times before, only to get the candle home, light it, and experience no fragrance beyond the top of the jar.

What a great surprise! This candle filled the room with the smell of strawberries. It was heavenly. And to top it all off, this was only a 4.5 ounce candle. Imagine how good a larger one would smell. I can't wait to buy more of these wonderful smelling candles. The 4.5 ounce candle was only $6.99, and they come in a variety of sizes and fragrances The company is called Beanpod Candles, and they are made from real soy. They are advertised as 100% stabilized soy wax--not a soy and paraffin blend. This is an environmentally safe candle, that does not contribute to pollution, so it is a good choice if you want to "go green."

Some of the scents are Candy Apple, Concord Grape, Candy Cane, Cheesecake, Cherry Almond, and many more. The candles come in 4.5, 16, and 25 ounce jars, and are readily available many places online, as well as many gift stores. Just type in "Beanpod Candles", and have fun choosing your favorite fragrance!

I highly recommend these great smelling, and long-burning candles.
