Household / Furniture / Unique High Top Dining Set - Eat in Style
When I moved out of my parents house and moved down to Florida I needed furniture. I didn't have anything at all. My parents graciously offered to buy me a dining room table and chairs and we found a very nice set at KMart.
This set is 5 pieces, the table and then 4 chairs. It is not your normal dining room table set though as it's a high top. I thought this was very unique and kind of had a young, hip feel to it. The color of the wood is a very very dark chocolate brown, almost black.
The table did require assembly but it was very easy to put together and we probably had it together within an hour or so. The table is 39x39x36 and four people can eat very comfortably at this table.
During my recent move the table did acquire some scratches on top of it so I am on the hunt for one of those scratch pens that is close to the right color to fix them. Overall I am very happy with my table and chairs set and I always get compliments from my friends whenever they come over.

This sounds great for the young and hip but you when are older and short it doesn't work. I've seen these sets at the store though and they are really great looking. I can understand why they are so popular, thanks for sharing!
