My husband and I have a Sterling and Noble wall clock in our bedroom. It is a very simple design in basic black. It reminds me of the kind of clock you would see hanging on the wall of a classroom.
The reason we purchased this clock is because it has big numbers and is easy to see, even from across the room. My eyesight is not the best anymore, and my husband has diabetes so his eyesight has also been affected.
The clock runs on one AA battery, and for the most part is a nice functioning clock. The one complaint I have is that not long after putting in a fresh battery, it tends to run somewhat slow and lose a little bit of time. It may get up to five minutes slow before the battery is changed again. I have other clocks that take batteries and I do not have this same problem with them. Maybe the clock uses up the battery life so quickly that it doesn't take long before it starts to lose a little bit of time. I really don't know, because it's been like this since we bought it, but the problem wasn't bad enough to prompt us to return it.
For the most part, the clock has done a good job for us. The loss of time has not presented much of a problem because we also have a digital clock in the room. We like the big numbers, but it would be even better if it didn't lose time.
