We recentley repainted my living room, hallway, hall bathroom and a bedroom (including the ceilings). We have used the cheaper paint from Wal-Mart and decided to buy the more expensive brand from Lowes. We decided on the Rolls Royce of paint, Olympic. It costs $110.00+tax for a 5 gallon bucket. Which I think is ridiculously expensive. I liked that the smell was not really strong, but it is paint so it still had a paint smell. It covered well. We were painting white on white so we only had to do one coat. I bought the semi-gloss because I wanted something that wiped off easily. Because I just painted I have not really had to clean anything off the walls yet. I will update if there is a problem with that. Honestly for the price the paint is average. I am sure there is a cheaper brand that works just as good. I do not regret buying this paint, but I probably will not do it again. I say if you have the money to spare you might want to try it out, if not shop around for a cheaper brand.

At the risk of making it more expensive or harder to find, I'll share a tip with you - buy ICI Dulux paints, and if you want a semi-shiny, scrubbable surface without a glare, use the satin - inside or out. You won't be disappointed, but it will cost as much or more as Olympic.
Thanks for the tip. This is a rental house, but I will be buying my own home soon and I will definately keep this in mind.
I'm actually working with Dutch Boy Refresh paint at the moment, and it's great because it eliminates odor (they teamed up with Arm & Hammer on this one, so it makes sense) and has no VOC. dutchboy.com/refresh?=MWKS
