   This chia pet is the best thing I have found for my son and I to grow together. He loves watching things grow and we love doing crafty things together (which we consider this), since it is quality time spent together! This is the head style and we have the scooby doo style, but all are the same idea. The planter thing you get wet and soak in water for 24 hours before starting, which is the longest hardest wait for my son, but after that all is smooth sailing.

    Together we can make the mixture (included) so that he can then slop it on, they give you enough that I don't need to worry about being careful or anything, if he drops some it is fine. And then all we have to do is keep the head filled with water. It is great because the seeds sprout in no time at all and my son can actually watch them grow since they grow so fast. We set ours near a window, so I can turn it from breaskfast to lunch and he can actually see the grass like stuff turn towards the window.

   This is worth every penny to see his face light up and also just fun to watch.
