While remodeling our bathrooms, we had to replace just about everything. In both bathrooms, the lights we had were left over from the 70s, complete with swag lamps. It was definitely time for an update.
We didn't know exactly what we wanted, but knew we didn't want anything elaborate. We both prefer simplicity for the most part. It's what we like, plus it's a lot easier to clean. I always have to take that into account when I am considering a purchase.
We had seen a few similar lights to this one at other stores, but the globes had too much curve. These were simple with just enough curve along the base to make them interesting. The light bar itself is very simple, exactly what we wanted. This light was for my husband's bathroom and he didn't want anything too feminine. This one fit the bill.
The 3 globes give out just the right amount of light and the light bar fits perfectly over the counter. It doesn't show in the picture, but the ends of the light bar have porcelain knobs, which come very close to matching the faucet handles. That really helped sell us on this particular light.
