I really like my new Brother sewing machine. It's also an embroidery machine that has Disney designs built in. The best feature is that you don't have to use the pedal. Although it does include one, it has both forward and reverse buttons on the machine. And there are even 3 speeds. It comes with tons of built-in sewing and decorative stitches. You can easily choose one from the digital display screen with the included stylus pen. When you want to switch to embroidery, you just attach the emboidery carousel and choose one of the built in designs. You can change the size, mirror the image and it even tells you what color you need next. The only thing I wish it had was the ability to hold more than one color of thread at a time. You have to change the spool after each color (although it's a very simple procedure). It has 25 built-in Disney designs including Mickey, Minnie, Pluto and the rest of the gang. But you can also purchase additional memory cards featuring the Disney Princesses, Pooh, Tinker Bell, Dora the Explorer and Blue's Clues. You simply insert the card and the images appear on the screen. I think this machine is a really good investment for both your sewing and embroidery projects.
