The Black & Decker Seal-Away is a unit that is supposed to suck the air out of bags to keep your food fresher longer.  I purchased this after seeing a commercial of another well known product and assumed it would do the same.  Boy was I wrong.  The item contained the sealer and a roll of bags that you customized yourself and an instruction manual.  I had no probems making the bags.  The problem came when trying to suck the air out of the bag.  You have to put the bag inside of a little vacuum nozzel and then press down on the lid.  The vacuum is not powerful enough to suck any air out of these bags.  The item looked the very same after it supposedly had sucked the air out and sealed the bag.  I did not see it.  I then resealed a cereal bag.  It did work with resealing a cereal bag.  I would not purchase this item again because I feel it is a bit costly just to reseal bags and not preserving the food in the bags the unit comes with in your initial purchase.  This product is a thumbs down.
