The Black&Decker Grand Openings can opener is the best one we had at the moment. We started with manual can openers and that was like throwing money directly to the trashcan because none of them last enough. Then we tried with some cheap electric can openers and the blades don’t last much with every day use. All of these attempts to find a good can opener were a great lesson of spending money wisely. The Black&Decker Grand Openings can opener is the only one that last more than a year.

 
This is a tall unit that makes it easy to open bigger cans. The blade works great and it also features a very convenient bottle opener. The knife sharpener is also great but we don’t use it much. I hope this is the last can opener I have to purchase, because is frustrating to buy and spend money in the same thing over and over again. I truly recommend the Black&Decker Grand Openings can opener; I have used it for 15 months now and it works like a new one. I think I have finally found a good can opener.
