The $17.99 that I invested in my Rival Slow cooker has been, by far, the best money I have ever spent on a kitchen appliance. This product is a busy womans best friend. I use it at least 5 times a week and I always get great results. In addition to the traditional high and low setting that most Crockpot's have, this has a warm setting. This helps eliminate any overcooking.
It works consistently every time I use it. I love that I can put even frozen meat in and by dinner time it is cooker to perfection. I can toss in a couple of frozen chicken breasts and than add a jar of store bought spaghetti sauce, or a jar of salsa and I don't have to think about it for the rest of the day. another great recipe for this Crockpot, put some ribs in and cover them with ginger ale. About a half hour before dinner I pull them out, drain the soda, add our favorite barbecue sauce, and in a 1/2 hour they are perfect.
This slow cooker has a removable stoneware insert that is microwave and dishwasher safe. Clean up is tremendously easy.
As a busy mom with 2 small kids, the Rival Slow cooker is, hands down, the best small appliance in my busy kitchen.
