The hype on the bottle says "for the toughest jobs on the planet Earth". So far, that has been true. Gorilla Glue bonds wood, metal, ceramic, stone and all manner of things.  I originally bought it to glue the head back on to a decapitated concrete garden statue and it worked just fine. The statue is outside in the elements and it has managed to keep it's head on for almost a year now. I've also used it for a broken ceramic wind chime and numerous things around the house. I think the glue really does the job, as everything I have used it for is still in one piece, but it was a little hard for me to use. You must first dampen the areas you are going to glue. (The concrete statue kept absorbing the water and I did not know if it was enough.) Then spread the glue on each surface--that's easy enough, then you must clamp the parts together for a few hours. The statue's head kept rolling away, so I finally had to lay it down and block the head into place. That worked fine, and I was happy with the results.  One other problem I can see is that the glue expands as it dries, so you must be careful not to use too much. As the instructions warn, using too much will cause the glue will sort of foam up and dry into a very visible white lump. I've done it. And, of course, as with any glue bottle, you have to keep the lid clean so it does not glue itself closed.  All in all, Gorilla Glue is a very good product that does what it says it will. I will continue to use it, and will have even better results now that I know what to look out for.
