I got my Dyson DC17 Animal as a present from one of my sons about 3 weeks ago and I love it. Talk about suction, Ive owned other vacuums but not like this one.
The suction is amazing. I thought my house was clean until I got this vacuum. The amount of dirt it removed from my carpeting was unbelievable.
It digs much deeper into your flooring to pull those many cat hairs from in between the piling and any where else they might be.
Although it is not light it is almost like a self propelled vacuum when you use it. It has easy to reach controls. Relatively solid construction compared with other vacuums.
Very little assembly is required out of the box.
If you are in the market for a vacuum I recommend this one. I realize these vacuums are expensive to purchase but they are worth it and also make a great present. I was jubilant.
