I bought the Roomba on impulse when I was channel surfing one night and I happened upon QVC. They were demonstrating this robotic round vacuum and I felt a sudden need to have it. I was not at all disappointed with my decision. I get up in the morning and let my Roomba clean my living room while I get the children ready for school. After work, it cleans my hallway and the bedrooms while I make dinner. It really makes my day easier and my workload lighter. I love the safety features of my Roomba. If it hits one of the kids or the dog, it turns. If it sucks up a curtain or something that has been left lying around, it stops and shuts down. It also comes with two laser stops to keep the Roomba from going into another room. My Roomba can clean three normal sized rooms before I have to empty the receptacle. My only problem with my Roomba is that I have to recharge the battery after a very short period of time. I had to purchase two batteries.
I would highly recommend this product to anyone. At $120.00, it is well worth the price for saving my back and keeping my carpets clean.
