Before my daughter was born I decided to try out many different types of bottles. I was very interested in the Dr. Brown bottles and had heard amazing things about them. We received a starter kit at my baby shower and couldn't wait to try them.

One thing I did not like from the beginning was the amount of parts on each bottle along with how hard it is to clean them. It is pretty much impossible to fully clean the inside tube.

My baby has always been very gassy so we were hoping these bottles would do the trick for her. While it did not fully cure her gassiness I believe it has helped a lot. It is easy to see how they work because as she drinks there are no bubbles visible going through the milk. All the air goes through the tube.  

The price of the 3 piece set is a little more than normal bottles but I do believe they are worth the extra money. The bottle nipples are also very nice and I love the silicone ones. I definitely plan on sticking with these and purchasing more.

I wanted to add that I purchased the 3 pack of 8oz. bottles. A few months ago we did purchase another set to make it a little easier since cleaning them takes a while. We still only use these bottles and they are holding up to the many feedings a baby needs.

Over time we did notice that occasionally the bottles would leak while warming them. I think it was because they were warmed fast and the milk goes through the tube and spills out. This only happened with we only had a few ounces in the bottle and used pretty hot water to place the bottle in.
