Office / Copiers / Canon IR-7095

This machine is an upgrade from a previous ImageRunner I've used at my work. The IR-7095 does 95-ppm (pages per minute) and has numerous features that allow you to staple, saddle stitch, fold, and perform other special copy features. One new addition to the machine was the hole-punching feature, which isn't quite supported by Canon yet. However, the hole-punching capability proved to be quite useful even when doing millions of impressions. Together, both of the IR-7095s were able to manage nearly 9 million impressions without going through a major break down. Although the hole-punch feature wasn't as reliable as the other aspects of the machine, it was necessary at our heavily demanding work environment.

One problem that was persistent was the type of paper that was needed to be used for the machine. It had to be a specific type of paper, a nicer quality and a more expensive brand, for the machine to function smoothly without constantly jamming. Overall, the machine proved to be very effective and its storage capacity for the mailbox is a decent size, and the copies were good quality.

  • This is good information. The ads never tell you just which functions aren't going to work quite right! hehe
