Nothing replaces the smooth functionality of a dedicated fax machine. Yes there are other options to transmit a page of data, but sometimes you need just a basic simple solution that WORKS. The greatest complement I can pay our office fax machine is that I never have to think about it. There is zero doubt that if I need to send or receive a fax, this machine will work.
The Canon black & white LASER CLASS 710 fax machine with Super G3 Fax Technology is a professional workhorse. The laser printing is more economical and faster than ink jet models. The plain paper outputs are crisp and clear - high quality. I believe it is 1200 x 1200dpi.
It does have the ability to copy, scan, and print --- But its strength is as a fax machine.
Hey if you want to really make it sing add the second line option! This allows you to have dual lines doubling your performance.

It is not excessively huge, but it is made for an office!
Looks as if it is good reliable office machine.
We use Canon at work. Thanks for the info. We have had no problems with ours.
