 About 2 years ago, I purchased the Boston Mighty Mite electric pencil sharpener for my home. I was not looking forward to having to clean out a pencil shaving cup on a regular basis since shavings tend to go everywhere but the trashcan, but this sharpener actually unplugs from it's cord so that I can hold both the sharpener and the cup over the trashcan to empty shavings. This reduces the mess I would usually make with other pencil sharpeners I have owned.

 Thre Boston Mighty Mite is a great pencil sharpener. I nearly always get perfectly sharpened pencils evey time I use it. It is also very small and compact, so finding a place for it in your office or home should be very easy. I would recommend this product for students, teachers, and parents because it is so easy to use and lasts for a while.
