I work in an office, so you can imagine the wite-out that constantly gets used. We have recently gone from the annoying liquid wite-out to the nice wite-out tape. But is it really that much better? After using it for a few days, it was a hands down winner. But then it seemed like the tape would get caught up in the roll a little bit and not run as smooth. I would literally have to pat down the tape when I applied it for a crisp finish that I could either type over or photocopy without showing mistakes. To me that was no better than the drippy liquid. On the plus side, the tape does not have to dry, which, in quick office situations, is a huge help. If you watch how you apply the tape, it works fine. If you just grab it and quickly do what you need to, without paying close attention, it starts getting caught in the roller. The good qualities outweigh the bad qualities, so it is the better buy of the two options.
