Office / Safes / Sentry Safe Fireproof Waterproof

We received this Sentry Safe as a gift to keep all our important papers in.  The safe is fireproof and waterproof so that would protect our papers in those cases.  The only thing that it wouldn't protect them is if someone were to pick this safe up and walk out of our house with it.

The Sentry Safe, model H2100 is a small safe.  It weighs approximately 25 pounds.  I can pick it up and move it around the house so it's not that heavy.  It is 16 inches wide and 8" deep.  It does have a lock on it but I have no idea where we put the key!  If you are going to lock it, I guess you need to remember to put the key somewhere safe too!

We have our birth certificiates, our marriage license, passports, wills and our investment portfolios in our safe.  These would be the most important documents for us to keep safe in case of a disaster. 

I think it's important to have a safe.  This one is a good starter safe for a few documents.  I would like to have a bigger safe in the future, one that you couldn't pick up and walk off with!
