About me:
First and foremost, I am a mom and wife. My son is 13 and my daughter is 11. I am a part-time elementary art teacher, which provides me with an opportunity to share my love of art with young learners while still allowing me quality time with my family. We enjoy playing cards together, fishing, hiking, and taking road trips across the mid-west to visit the grandparents! Three years ago, my daughter had a JPA brain tumor removed and had to relearn how to use her hands, arms, legs, etc. After extensive physical and occupational therapy, she has regained nearly all of her mobility and she is an inspiration to all of us as she now reaches out to other children with brain tumors or injuries.
