Become a Better You, Is Real Inspiration

I don't consider myself a religious person, spiritual would fit me so much better. I don't consider "Becoming A Better You", by Joel Osteen, to be a religious read. The book is truly inspiring though. No matter what background you may come from, there is a lot of real inspiration for almost everyone in this book.

Joel Osteen is the genuine article. Yes, he is a minister with thousands of people attending his church. He also reaches millions more on TV. It is his sincerity and inspiration that shines through, that so many others respond too.

"Become A Better You", was my first exposure to Joel Osteen. I was reluctant at first to crack open this book. I get very defensive when I feel someone is looking for an excuse to preach to me.

A few minutes later, I was engrossed in the book. Far from being preachy, Osteen was taking me into his "keys", to improving my own life and live it on my own terms.

The book uses biblical principles and personal testaments that touched something deep within me. It truly made me think about what I found empty in my own life and why I felt this way. Osteen also offered up ways I could profoundly discover a better me.

My wife loves the book. Neither one of us are running around town telling all of our friends and family to go out and buy this book, yet we both have found ourselves recommending, "Becoming A Better You" to several others; when certain personal issues come up in conversation.

I can't help but recommend this book to anyone and everyone that feels something missing in their life.
