Samsung HI8 Camcorder
This Samsung camcorder is analog which in 2007 is outdated. I still enjoy the camcorder but you cannot download the footage to your computer unless you have a converter. The camcorder is very user friendly and lightweight. I have taken this camcorder on many vacations and have been very pleased with the playback of the videos. Again one big downfall with this camcorder is that it records in analog and not digital which makes downloading impossible without a converter. It does allow you to playback your video on televisions with the audio/video cable input plug and you receive the playback cord with your purchase of the camera. You also receive a remote control which I have yet to use but maybe some day. I am in the process of purchasing a converter to download my videos on DVD and to my computer. I say this is a nice camcorder if your funds are very limited but I say save a little more and get you a camcorder which records in digital format and not analog format.
