Linksys WUSB54GC USB 2.0 Wireless Adapter
Share and Enjoy:
I bought this wireless usb adapter for our older laptop. My laptop has two usb ports available and they are both the 1.1 speed. At first it looked like it was not going to be able to adapt to an older laptop. Then I saw that there was an adapter cord in the box that solved this problem. It was very easy to set up. First you run the cd and then you hook up the wireless usb adapter. It takes about 2 minutes total for it to recognize the new hardware and find your network connection. I was very pleased with this product and would recommend it to anyone who doesn't have a laptop with wireless capability. It was up and running in no time at all. Now I can take the laptop anywhere in the house and even outside. This product works best with a 2.0 usb port but even with my 1.1 it works great!

Tink, Lynksis is the only product in this class I'll use for these purposes. They simply are the best at what they do. They offer good support along with very well crafted routers hubs, and networking devices .
Had no idea you could get an adapter to run USB 2.0 stuff on the old ports. Good info.
I like Linksys they do good routers and this sounds like a great adapter.
i just bought this USB and i hate it mine dosen't work worth a ...... so now i need to go buy a new one that captures the signals better
I just used one of these this morning. I was really happy with how easy it was!
my company's using this as well.. works like a charm :)
oh ya.. sometimes this might not work due to overheat... all you need to do is to plug it out and cool it down alittle and plug it back it... it usually works for me that way
