Sony Vegas Movie Studio Review

I have recently started producing videos for a website and after trying several free trials I have found that I love using Sony Vegas Movie Studio. Initially, it was very confusing but now it is relatively simple to produce a video file that can be uploaded to a website or downloaded to a DVD. I am using Sony Vegas Movie Studio 6.0. While there are more current versions, I have found I have been able to do everything that needs to be done with VMS 6.0. You have the capability to add both audio and video tracks, add your own text media as well as special effects. Even with all of the good things I can say about Sony Vegas Movie Studio, I have found one serious draw back of using this software. The manual or instructions that come with the software is very poorly written and not user friendly at all. I would suppose that someone with an extensive video background might not have the difficulty I had, but Sony Vegas Movie Studio advertises that this is software for new users. I have to disagree. Fortunately, I found some free online tutorials that were made by other users that helped tremendously. I was also very unhappy to find that Customer Support had a fee. In addition, this software is not cheap. I was happy to find a great deal on eBay. I would recommend that anyone that is interested in using this software download the 30 day free trial and find out if it is something you really want to purchase.
