Amazon.com Visa from Chase

The Amazon.com Visa from Chase is a good credit card for the various bonuses that can be earned through using it. 

First off, it's a standard Visa and functions like any regular credit card.  Customer service from Chase has always been excellent and I have never had any issues.  You get online access to the card and can pay your bill online, look at transactions from the past few months etc.  but this is fairly normal for most credit cards.

Where this card shines is its reward program.  I don't know if Amazon runs the promo all the time, but on a regular basis they will tell you that you can get $30 off your order if you sign up for the Amazon.com Visa, so that's an immediate $30 in your pocket.  After that, all purchases accrue 1 award point for every dollar you spend, and 3 award points for every dollar you spend at Amazon.  Every 2500 award points you receieve a $25 gift certificate that can be used at Amazon and is transferrable to anyone so they make good gifts or you could even sell them if you wanted.  This means you're getting anywhere from 1% to 3% cashback.  This is better than most credit cards, but some out there offer other programs that may be better for you.

Interest, credit limit, etc. are all dependent upon your credit and as I pay my card off in full every month I have no real concern for either.  I will say that without much of a credit history I was able to get a $10k credit line easily enough shortly after I got the card.

Overall I have enjoyed my card for about 6 years and I don't plan on changing anytime soon.  I've probably gotten more than a dozen gift certificates, and once when there was a delay in sending them they sent me an extra one to make up for it!
