Grab that "Grab-It" Dish

I just finished heating up my lunch in this grab-it stoneware bowl from Corning Ware. It reminded me how much I like these bowls and how much I use them. I have 6 of them, most have the old blue color plastic cover which now comes in white. These bowls are the perfect size to take to work, 15 oz, and hold just enough for lunches or to store left overs in. The grab-it handle is what makes this dish so handy as I never have a problem with it getting hot when using it in the microwave and it gives me something to hold onto. The lids seem to be indestructible as mine go through the dishwasher continually and have never warped like other lids that I have. I have used mine to store left over spaghetti sauce in the freezer without getting freezer burn, just make sure to put a layer of saran wrap over your sauce and then just pop the lid on. I like using this dish so much better than the plastic storage bowls you can purchase. I lasts for many many years or until you drop and break one. The lid is easily recognizable from the pile I have in my cupboard and probably do not have the matching container for!!!! Give this little Grab-it Dish a try and know the Corning Ware name is tops in bakeware.
