Best Ever Car Rental Secret
If you ever need to rent a car it will be worth your while to check out National Car Rentals "Emerald Club". Our family has not used any other car rental agency for more than 5 years. There is absolutely no charge to belong. As an Emerald Club Member I completely bypass the car rental counters, go directly to the Emeral Club aisles at the airport (there are now over 50 airports with this service) and pick out any car that I want in the class that I reserved. Many times if I'm at the appointed aisle for the class I have reserved (intermediate, luxury, etc.) and there is an upgraded car there, it is mine to pick at no extra charge. I'm not wasting time looking for a specific car that has been assigned to me by a car rental agency. I have never had a problem, the cars I've picked usually had very little mileage, one had only 6, and the cars are always immaculate. When it's time to return my rental car, I just pull it into any Emerald Club spot, drop off my paperwork and they email me a detailed receipt. You'll never see me standing in line at a car rental counter!!!

Thanks for the great advice! My son and his family are moving to Texas in eight weeks . We live in New York therefore we will be taking a lot of airplane trips to Texas.
