Logitech usb laser mouse

As with many things, a mouse is very personal. I prefer a larger contoured mouse that fits comfortably in a man's hand. The tactile response of the keys, buttons, and wheel are very high priorities for me. This mouse has all of those features and matches the requirements nicely. Where the mouse is a slight disappointment is with the programmable buttons on the side of the mouse. The default setting is the forward & back functions. It always seems to go back or forward two pages to each click, but it is intermittent. The scroll wheel has a side to side function, but this doesn't seem to work on a majority of my applications including IE7. The choices were so limited for a wired mouse, that I would choose it again given the competition.

A left handed person should look for a different mouse. This is also known as the MX-400.

I have a little creative laser mouse which fits my small hand perfectly and just does what mice do. and it does it well:) This one sounds great if you want a little more mousish function, and most importantly, know how to use them. I don't, so this one would be totally lost for me.
I do not use wired mouses any more, but agree with Demon_Buttercup, this seems a bit complicated for a mouse. I would rather have one that is simple to operate. Thanks for this information.
The benefit of a wired mouse is it is tethered to the desk if you have little critters running around.that like to pick things up.
A few too many buttons for my taste, but I can see that if they worked properly, then it might make your web browsing and document reading go a bit faster.
I prefer a wireless mouse too. But this one sounds too complicated for me:0)
I would love to get a wireless mouse, but I am afraid my kids would think it was a toy.
This mouse sounds like it has tons of bells & whistles!!
Logitech makes some great computer products.
I am happy with the M-BZ105A mouse. However, I stopped using the button at the left: when you want to do something in the screen, the last thing you think about "o yeah, I programmed that action on the left key". The scroll wheel scrolls fine. The left and right option has never been usered by me. Sometimes a small hair sticks in front of the laser, the pointer than moves on its own over the screen. Just blow it away and is is solved. I choose this model because I do NOT want a wirless model (I hate the reaction lag when you pick it up), not a clasic ball (get hairs in their very quickly) and not a IR sensor. Doensnt work fine on most surfaces. this laser sensor works on almost all surfaces without a problem. In short I do not use the extra buttons, the basic function are what I need and these work fine.
Seems really expensive just for a wireless mouse.
It is quite expensive.
