Is It Real or Is It Artificial?

Share and Enjoy:
Some people swear only a "real" Christmas tree is the best and will settle for nothing less.   I chose to go with an artificial tree ever since I was first married.  So you don't cut your own tree?  Well, how many people buy them from lots where they've been standing for weeks on end already.  Presently, there are so many gorgeous artificial trees out there to choose from it is getting harder and harder to tell the difference between the real and the fake.  I chose this tree last year to give to my daughter who had left the nest and moved to Florida.  This tree stands 6 ft. tall and comes prelit with 400 clear lights (so much better than putting string after string on the tree).  We handpicked this together for her apartment and we loved the feel and texture of the branches.  It went together without a problem and all that we had to do was arrange the branches and I left her to do all the ornaments that I had been sending down for some time already.   At least I won't worry about a dry tree that could catch on fire, or think about a thousand dry needles all over the floor.   Come over to our side......buy an artificial prelit tree!!!

  1. I have wanted to buy an artificial tree this year but I think I will wait until after Christmas to get it on sale. I would love to have a pre lit tree. I wonder how long the lights last?

    1. Tink, we've had our own prelit tree for 5 years and haven't had any problems with the lights. I would definitely wait unitl after Christmas, although some of the sales before Christmas have been getting better and better each year. Pick out a tree that you like and keep you eye on it!!!

  2. Picked one of these up before Christmas. Very nice not dealing with the rat's nest separate Christmas lighting becomes.

  3. I am a huge artificial tree fan. Love mine. Although it is not prelit. do you find that the 400 lights is enough for you? i tend to want lots of lights on my tree so I think I would have to go with more lights.

  5. I've had artificial trees at Christmas for years. Even though a real tree is nice, I really like the artificial ones, and they do look so realistic.
