Secretary on dvd

This movie truely is odd and twisted.  It's dark as in, mood dark and just unusual.  I am sure that there are a lot of people who didn't and don't like it.  I happen to be one of the people who DO like it!  It stars Maggie Gyllenhaal and James Spader.  Maggie is just getting out of a mental house place.  She was there because she cuts herself.  That is how she releases her emotions.  On the day she gets out, it happens to be her older sister's wedding.  Maggie's character is an odd duck.  She is a loner and just unusual.  You see Maggie get upset at the wedding she finds out that her father did not quit drinking like he said and then later you see her parents fighting and her dad gets a little bit physical.  Maggie decides to look for her job and you see her taking typing lessons, which she receives an award for and then she applies for a job as a secretary in James's office.  That is the first time that they meet and he also is an odd duck.  He seems to prefer to be alone and is a lawyer.  The longer Maggie works for James the more her character blooms and then James and Maggie get a big more personal.
