Litex Remote is Very Handy

Share and Enjoy:

We have been using the Litex ceiling fan remote control for several years and simply love it.

This remote has several great features.

A sensor for the remote is placed up in the ceiling fan.  This sensor is a thermometer.  We are able to set the remote so that the fan begins to rotate whenever the room temperature reaches a pre-selected temperature.  This allows us to have the fan turn on and off as needed to keep our room a constant temperature.

If we prefer the remote can be set to simply have the fan turned on or off.  Another feature allows us to select the fan speed so that we don't have it going very fast when we prefer a slow rotation.

The light control for the ceiling fan has an on/off button but can also be used to dim/brighten the light to any level.

Perhaps my favorite feature of the remote is that it is held onto the plate on the wall with Velcro.  This makes it easy to be removed and carried around which is perfect for when I am reading and then want to turn the light out to sleep.

My only complaint about the Litex remote is that it is difficult to simply push the light on/off switch when entering a dark room.  I have finally mastered this but it took awhile and sometimes I still hit the wrong button instead.

If you are looking for a great remote for a ceiling fan you should check out the Litex remote.

  5. I have seen fans that have remote controls to turn them on and off but never one with a temperature sensor and a dimmer switch, how cool is that? Thanks for the information. The next time I am shopping for a fan, I will have to look for these.
