When purchasing clothes for my son, I always look at two major factors: price and reliability. I have began to shop for sale items, and this is one I found over the summer at JCPenney's. The price was pretty good, at $5.50 for the shirt. The shirt itself is pretty average in quality, with some of the stitching loose after only a few washes, so that was not pleasing. The color of the shirt is bright orange with navy blue in the shoulders, and has maintained the color through each wash. It is made of 100% cotton, so some shrinking was expected. However, it does not look as though it shrank that much at all. The design is a cute little shark, carrying a surfboard. The shoulders have a white stripe along them, which makes it look even cuter. For my three-year-old, the shirt was age appropriate. If he was much older, I think the design and overall look would still appeal to a boy. Overall, I got my use out of the tank top, which is what my intentions were.
