Hound Dog Turf Hound Coring Aerator
Share and Enjoy:
So now summer is turning into fall and now the lawn companies are running around trying to find last minute people they can take money from one last time. How much do you or have you paid to get your lawn aerated or cored? I know I paid $50 last summer and that was the last time I was going to do that. The promises they make about their machinery doing the job is such a line. If you have some time on your hands and not a big lawn, I would recommend the Do It Yourself Turf Hound by Hound Dog. It has a sturdy metal frame and is designed so that you put your foot on the cross beam at the bottom, your hands on the upper part and you use your feet to press it down into the earth. The bottom cylinders will take two 3/4" diameter hole (roughly 3" deep) out of your lawn. You just simply walk across your lawn using the tool to put as many or as little holes in your grass as you wish. I will tell you from experience, the outcome is the exact same as if you paid a company to do it. What is the cost of using some elbow grease? about $50-$60 that you will be saving.
