GE 2.4 GHz Dual Cordless Phone
My previous phone died on me so I decided to check out some of the sales at Walgreens. This is when I found the General Electric 2.4 GHz Dual Handset Cordless phones. I had previously owned GE dual phones and was skeptical at first, but the price was right at $39.99. I figured if something went wrong, I wouldn't be out so much money.
Again, the features that I like are that you have the base phone on your main wall connected to the telephone line and the second phone could be put anywhere that had a power outlet. That's great. You used to have a second phone jack in the wall, but this phone allows you to have your second phone in whatever room you want and you can change it anytime. I find it more convenient by my computer and desk.
I obviously like the call waiting feature. This way you know who's calling before you pick up the phone. (you know those telemarketers.. ) I also like the feature that allows you to have a private conversation. No one can pick up the other phone to eavesdrop. AND....We're always misplacing the phone too, so it helps to have the button on the main phone that beeps BOTH phones and you can easily locate either of them.
