I bought a PS3 for my birthday, and I have many feelings for my PS3. I bought it for a fair price, for a PS3 at $499.99 at GameStop, it comes with 2 less USB ports, and 20 GB less of a hard drive. The games are pretty good, and my eyes are still adjusting the the realism, but Xbox Live beats PS Online by far, firstly, there are many bugs and the connection is slower than my Xbox 360, and there the game expierience surpasses it through more XBL subscribers. As for the change from PS2 to PS3, Sony had over 6 years to change and make the new console better, I was disappointed from the lack of change. The controller is exactly the same, with moderate backwards compatability. Though to the contrary, even with a year headstart, sales of the PS3 vs. 360 vs Wii aren't that bad. It seems that every type of game player is fitting into place. Which then brings my title to a conclusion. Is the PS3 worth the $499? I'm afraid only YOU can answer that, and what type of gamer you are.
