I needed a nice, powerful vacuum for my first apartment a few years ago that was compact but would get the job done. I have kids who like to eat messy things, and so effectiveness was very important. It's a very cute neon green unit that has a handle which lowers easily for compact storage. It is a bagless--which is fantastic. You can buy filters that have baking soda in them for that extra oomph. I only wish that the vacuum had some kind of attachments for walls. It is a very cut and dry, bare bones vacuum. And I have to say that it has clogged a little more than I would like, but they always say you get what you pay for. So, while it gets the job done at my place for the most part, I wouldn't recommend it for any place larger than a small apartment.
