Red Lion Inn Pocatello, Idaho

We stayed at the Red Lion Inn during a personal trip, so we didn't have much need of business amenities. However, they have a nice computer area for guests, and there is free WIFI in the rooms. My wireless card wasn't powerful enough, so the hotel gave me one to use during my stay. I don't know if there were childcare facilities on-site. We didn't need it if it was available.

The room was clean, spacious, and designed for comfort. It was supposed to be non-smoking, though it smelled like someone had smoked in there at some point recently. That was our sole complaint about the room. There was a coffee maker, hair dryer, and quality toiletries provided by Bath&Body Works. When we discovered we hadn't packed toothpaste, the hotel staff brought a complementary tube to us within 10 minutes. The indoor pool, spa, and exercise room were a nice treat and well maintained.

The desk staff was very friendly and helpful.

The restaurant (The Pantry) was the one area where the hotel didn't live up to expectations. the service was slow and substandard. the food was good, but the selection was limited. I would definitely stay at this hotel again, but I wouldn't eat in their restaurant.
