Cuisinart 12 Cup Coffeemaker

We are not big coffee drinkers, but when we do indulge on weekend mornings, we would like good tasting coffee and an easy to use coffeemaker. We are happy with our Cuisinart DCC-1000. It is simple to use and the black design goes well with our other appliances. The black also does not show stains like our previously owned white coffee maker. It takes this coffeemaker ten minutes from start to finish. We like things simple and easy to figure out, and this coffeemaker has done well in that department. The water reservoir is not the easiest to fill up since it is near the lid, so that is one downfall, though a very minor one since we only use it once or twice per week. There is a nice 24 hour clock/timer feature that enables you to wake up to hot coffee the next morning. There is also a charcoal water filter that helps keep your coffee tasting fresh. This coffee maker takes cone filters, which are easy to find at your local supermarket. Would I buy this again? Yes, but I also might look for one with an easier to fill water reservoir.
