Vtech Cordless Phone 2.4GHz
I received this cordless phone as a gift. I was looking for something simple with caller ID and call waiting. This phone system is great if you need an extra phone in the house. I only have to connect one unit in the wall jack and the other simply plugs into an electrical outlet anywhere in the house. It has great range reception too. I have taken it outside the house with no interference. It has a backlit keypad and screen. A great feature for finding the phone in the dark when it rings! One problem I have encountered is that if you use it around other electronic gadgets, including baby monitors, microwave ovens and wireless networking gear which mostly use the 2.4 GHz band, it causes interference. I would highly recommend this product as a basic extra phone.

V-tech is an awesome brand. I have had v-tech phones that were dropped/thrown and they still worked like a charm afterwards!
I love this phone too. It was a gift and a great one!!! It's pretty basic but sometimes I think the bells and whistles of other phones get in the way!
My mom owns one like that but with more features .
