VTech cordless phones

I bought this phone because it came with two handsets. At first it was great. It worked everywhere. It holds a ton of numbers in the caller ID. The only drawback is that now that the phone is a little older (maybe a year) you cannot dial a number unless you are in the same room as the base unit. The phone call will not go through. Once you dial though and the phone rings you can go anywhere you want and the call will go through. I like that they are lightweight and that the battery does not go dead for a long time. They also charge up very quickly. Having two handsets is also very convenient as I can have them in two locations without having to have two phone jacks. You only need a jack for the base unit. I have the black and silver ones and they have held up very well. They have even survived being dropped numerous times. Overall I would reccomend this product.
