Call of Duty: Finest Hour (PS2)
Share and Enjoy:
I recieved this game for Christmas a few years ago. I found it to be a good, though flawed, game. It is a World War Two based first person shooter, and you get to play as three different armies: Russia, Britain, and the United States, in that order. The controls are slightly unweildy, but that is only because I am used to playing FPSes with a keyboard and mouse. The graphics, while not astounding, get the job done. The sounds could be better in some cases, however. For example, the Russian accents in the game are embarassingly fake. On the other hand, the soundtrack itself is very well done. The array of weapons is both accurate and impressive. You can use vehicles at some points in the game, and these portions are always fun, though often too arcadey for my tastes. There is an online mode to the game, but there is almost no community to speak of. Prepare yourself for few servers and even fewer players. All in all, if you find it for cheap, go ahead and buy it. It certainly isn't worth more than twenty dollars though.
