1 phone jack, multiple handsets with this phone
I don't have anything negative to say about this Uniden phone. It has never given me any problems. This phone came with the base unit and 1 extra handset. I love the fact that I can add additional handsets to the phone. I also like that it does not require extra phone jacks for the additional handsets. You can plug the additional handset into an electrical outlet.
The phone is a 2.4GHz, digital phone. the sound quality is great. Even when I take it outside, far from the base, I still have very good clarity and have never lost reception. The major bonus with this phone is all the extra features. It has a built in answering machine. It has caller ID, which most phones have. It also has 20 ring options, a do not disturb setting, intercom, and baby monitoring (or room) capability. Our kids are always losing the handset, so the find lost handset button is used often.
